The JG SRT appears in the March 91 issue of RCCA (which is the Feb 91 issue of the scans) for the What's New For '91 feature. The only RCCA ad I've seen for it is in the July 91 issue of the scans.
The only NIP parts I've seen for the SRT were packaged individually (rear arms came with dog bones), but I would be surprised if JG didn't offer them together as conversion kits like they did with the earlier monster truck parts. The tires and body were ones offered by JG (Duratrax and TMS offered similar/same tires) and are appropriate for the SRT. This is the tire ad I have saved:

Re: JG Truck
Thank You Phin!!! I am not sure how you pulled out the exact issues of RCCA, and the fact that Feb and Mar of '91 have flip flopped covers on the scans, but I am sure glad you could!!
So it is safe to say that this particular truck has the original body and tires, which is pretty cool! The black isn't bad on the body, so I may work with it and just decal it out instead of trying to remove the black completely. I don't like the tires, but they will stay for history's sake. I have found a couple of original jg parts that this truck could use on ebay, so I will get them ordered.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: JG Truck
I used thar front bumper/body mount on my M/T Conversion. I thought it was the best looking of all the alternatives.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Re: JG Truck
I had a JG truck project awhile back so I went through the research phase myself. Unfortunately after ~8 years of trying to find front arms I gave up on it.

Re: JG Truck
I have had this HPI EB body in my stash for 20+ years, and have never had a truck that fit it ................ until now!
The camera is playing tricks as usual, but the actual WB is within 1/4" of each other. I think it may actually fit up with the jg body mounts also, or close enough.
