I don't understand the little label code on CAM motors. I have 2 NIP 15x1 model 1054 motors. Both have a 185 label.

Hmm so that makes mine make less sense if you know for a fact yours are 15 singles. Lol my 215 made a little sense before that. What in the world would 185 mean? I was half guessing the 215 on mine was 2/15 for 2 wraps 15 times, by my monkey math yours would be 1 wrap 85 times or 18 wraps 5 times. Yeah, I don’t understand either. I guess an inter company part number?

Do you guys know any history about CAM motors in general?

It could be a wire gage size (18.5 or 21.5 ga), but I have no way of knowing for certain.
