How much of a shelf queen are you going for?
As I have this ongoing project I never get around to
Lots of NIP parts including hop ups
and a fairly nice chassis with touring rims, so a set of NIP tyres in that lot.
But really rare bit

Minimini--nice ride, brought back memories...
wow.........another nicely modified Tomy EX !!.........
at that time many people changed the wheel adaptors to Yokomo.........in fact.......up to this moment...... I still think this is a wise decision..........
on-road buggies were very popular in Hong Kong at that time.........Masami Hirosaka used to go to Hong Kong every year for an invitation race..........with Hiroshi Suzuki .......& also Atsushi Hara........ BTW, bro Atlas.......are you Hong Konger ??......
just visited a 2nd hand shop yesterday........bought a motor mount .......which had been nicely machined (by the previous owner) to reduce weight........

just clean up the chassis.........took out the slipper clutch......the design is so nice & compact...... .......the next step will be tackling the ball diff........
I think I will replace all the shocks........& actually I got three options........
- Kyosho gold shocks
- Associated green shocks
- Kyosho Lazer ZXR optional shocks (the one with black cap & silver cylinder)
any inputs ??.....

I'd go with whatever fits best for length: you don't want to have to build some custom shockstays when there's such nice ones on the model already
I think I will make this car an on-road buggy look.......with foam tyres........& about the shocks.......I need to check the length of the cylinders before final decision..........
also need to match the overall color........don't want to make it a "rainbow car" or "GPM look" with screws, washers & metal parts in many different color........... so ugly.........
rc hobbies and more has an awesome, huge, outdoor track. vintage friendly.
this is the thrid year for this race and this year they've added a vintage class. (2wd buggies and trucks)
Actually I saw this beautifully built Ultima A&L conversion in a Japanese webpage long time ago............really wanted to build one up myself...........but did not know where to get it at that time...... :(

Man I will be watching this one!!! I didn't know there were so many hop-ups for the ultima, too bad they are so hard to find.
.........being deeply poisoned by this site for a long time..........& after getting a gold tub, A&L conversion not long ago........my next target is the graphite tub...........:)
lucky enough to get one in the bay at a reasonable price...

Nice!!, that's one of my target finds too, Did that chassis come from ebay in the last month?
I got this graphite tub around 3 to 4 months ago.........from valkyrie ........:)
This was posted elsewhere in an earlier stage. This pro-SE has a bunch of aftermarket parts from lunsford, mip and RPM. I had a stock Peak Performance motor in there, but I think the Mod fits the theme better. I would like for the trans case to be a...
In the old days ............because of the geographical reason........on-road buggies were very popular in Hong Kong..........Turbo Optima was one of the best at that time.......... :D
Lucky enough to buy a set of Turbo Optima mid-motor conversion...

ah, yes, I remember now: I saw some parts on yahoo auctions last year too
Thanks for the picture: it was their logo that triggered my memory.
