Does anyone know if a B4 or B3 transmission will fit on a RC10 gold pan? The reason I ask is that I am having a hard time finding a original stealth trans and there seem to be alot of the B4 one's on ebay.
My uncle give me his old rc10 a few year ago and I am now trying to make it into a modern racer. I have seen a few on here that look sweet!
I need some help. There is an A stamp on the bottom chassis of the car. Is this a 6-gear transmission or could this be a stealth?
I recently changed the old electronics to a brushless Castle Sidewinder 4600 kv motor/esc combo and 2s Lipo. I ran...

No, not an easy way to adjust timing on a sealed endbell. Cut brushes can adjust timing but are fragile and don't last long.
Hi Guys I need some help I purchased a beat up RC10 that has a 1988 MIP belt drive tranny. Trouble is that I think the tranny hasn't been assembled correctly and does not run smooth at all. Does anybody have or know where I can find the original...

Someone say they needed a little bit more transmission?
Whats better than one transmission? Two transmissions!!
This may have been the answer (prototype) to the pre stealth. Just kidding of course.
I have an old RC10 goldpan buggy from ~1987 (I was only 13 when I got it) that was sitting in the shed for ~20 years. Got it out two weeks ago, got a new battery and electronic speed control, ran it ~3 times, and the bearing opposite the big diff...

Thanks, just ordered. A lot cheaper than advertised at Associated.
I thought that I would refer to the experts on this question. I have a vintage RC10 with the A gold tub. I would like to upgrade to a stealth transmission from the standard transmission. Do any of you know if the 7037 RC10T 4.1...

Toothpaste I think only worked for people who converted to a steel idler gear. Buy new diff balls and rebuild your 6-gear the Jim Halsey way . You can also try the bearing elimination mod but it's not required for a smooth 6-gear.
Haven't seen a lot of these around but I ended up with one.
I got this on my later purchase, got a T2 and it came with a MIP tranny. When I opened the case, it had the incorrect diff in it.
Long story short I found the MIP diff on the T2 tranny and...

Since the MIP box uses a standard top shaft, you could swap over to B4/T4 slipper parts really easily (as compared to the RPM box).
I have an original 1984 Associated RC10 buggy with the gold pan frame. I believe it is a series A , how do I verify this? I would like to upgrade the transmission from the original and I believe what I need is a stealth transmission. Is...
