Is her half or third in the air? That room is so full. I thought when I saw the pics. Oh cool, a nice big space for him at last. Then a few posts later, boom, wall to wall boxes.mrlexan wrote:Half or maybe a third of it is my wife's

Re: My New Hobby Room!
In the last pic... see the kites, life is good banner, and the oak desk? That is her work desk, I think it is 59 inches long. It goes from that point up to that blue and black bag on the left, which is where her laptop/computer station is. Between those two points, all that stuff is hers. And like I said there are a bunch of boxes buried on the right that have sweaters, linen/bedding and stuff suited for the cold temps of Michigan that we really don't need, but are not sure we want to get rid of.
She says I spread like a virus.... this week she is referencing taking over the spare bed with bodies laid out on it prepped for shipment. I told her it won't last long, then she can have her spare bed back (not like anyone is using it anyway).
It just looks like a mess, cause I just dumped everything in the room to get it in. I haven't really spent anytime organizing it. I need to get rid of a lot of it, ie the Blackfoots on the table, one is up on ebay at the moment. I planned on ebaying some more this week, but the body thing has take over for the week. My wife tells me I have too many projects and too much going on at one time....... well, yeah, but what's the alternative, sitting on the couch drinking beer and watching football.... that's not me.

Heh, sitting on the couch partially watching football, with laptop on the coffee table, browsing ebay while packing boxes full of lexan. Of course the beer is sitting right next to the laptop.

Re: My New Hobby Room!
How many years of collecting do you have under your belt? Looks like a damn vintage RC storeroom! Hope you have lots of insurance?!

I have more pics of the inside, but I am not sure I want to open myself up for the filleting.

Re: My New Hobby Room!
At least it is somewhat organized.... I had to organize it some more, as we had to squeeze our brand new washer/dryer in there just after our most recent move. They won't fit in our new place. The wife is not happy about that, she loves them damn things.

I'm starting to understand why you always go weary about this or that part being somewhere deep-down the storage. Real troublesome to find anything if you don't remeber where exactly
