Those look like Pajero rims and The Scale Shop beadlock rings. Are you into the crawling scene as well?

The body I have in the photos, I rescued from the trash, and the window post were gone. I had to rebuild them with tape, and a hot glue gun, then I just painted over them to hide it. I can't wait to get the new ones and do it right.

Scale crawling, a little, sort of..... I have a stock Tamiya TL-01 with a hummer body. It's 4wd with a 75 Turn motor. Nothing special. If I was back home in Fort Collins I might be more into it, but being stuck out here in the deserts of California there not as much to climb on.

I got the Robby Gorden Ford F-150 trophy truck bodies in, would anyone be interested in a newer body for your TA01/02

Did you know that when you buy a body from Tower, or any LHS you are paying twice what they are paying for that body. So for every body they sell, they can buy two to replace it.

I found a "On-line" hobby store that sells a limited number of bodies for 20% over what they buy the bodies for, and thats around 30% less that the other hobby stores.

On eBay a body this rare goes for around $40.00, and I will be selling this body for the same on eBay.

So far as the forms sales are concerned, I'm going to sell them for $20.00 + shipping.

If your interested, please tell me

Pretty, but I like the kinda 'rat' look of the black one best still.
Care to disclose where the roof lights and front bumper are from?

roof lights: Tamiya Toyota Hi-lift, why? because they come in dark chrome, and it looks good.

front bumper: I make the titanium brush guard, and I mounted a HPI RS4 NMT2 bumper onto it.

I have a new photo for you.

It seems that Steve Rule is painting one of these bodies for Robby Gorden, and I will be building the chassis. Maybe we have a new RC celebrity on the rise.

I've met Robby a few times. He is a really nice guy. I never knew he was into RC tho. I sure wish he would come back to off road racing full time and quit screwing around with that nascar stuff! Every one knows dirt is for racing, pavement is how you get to the track! He is one of the best offroad racers of all time!

LOL, I thought I was the only one who liked that paint job! So much that I'm even painting my real race truck like it!

just arrived back at my parents place and found my repro-body waiting for me (hehe: that sounds odd)
I'm very happy with it , nice strong lexan got used for this one and it looks just just as good for real as in the pics (in contradiction to the hamburgers in most joints LOL)

Thanks again!
