The upper brace was for deflection on the vertlical kingpins sense the front is not really camber adjustable just caster. And i do say upon close review of vintage mags and standings bolink competed and beat the competition quit a bit like there LTOss/

If you cranked down on the center nut you could get the plate to bend enough to measure 1 degree of negative camber at each wheel. If I did not do this the front foams would cone much worst than usual. Tony Neisinger showed me this at a club race explaining,,, "you have to make it smile."

Does anyone know why Bolink doesn't produce an Eliminator anymore? And when and why they discontinued them in the first place? I see they have a car on their site which looks to be old technology repro'd from an older version. Not 100% on that though.

I lived in Atlanta for a while and visited the factory when I had my Elim 10 & 12. I recall how nice they were to offer me a tour and show me around the facilities. I appreciated my Bolinks 100% more after that.

I think it's because the market has changed. Pan cars were huge and pretty much the only type of on-road racing....until the touring cars hit hard in the early-mid 90s. In addition, it takes a lot of R&D to keep up with companies like associated, trinity etc. Oh, and don't forget about money and effort it takes to sponsor "big name" drivers.

After the release of the digger, they probably saw that there was a market for the "simple" cars. This shift wasn't too bad for the company since they pretty much own the legend class.
