HEADS UP GUYS!!!
i talked to noony last night, and he received the new issue of rc driver in the mail. the article from the nationals is in it. most magazine hit the newstands a couple weeks after subscribers get theirs. so, i just wanted to let you guys know to keep your eye out for it. i'd think it would be the Jan. 09 issue.

Re: *** The official VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS thread ***
i probably should've kept my mouth shut, huh? the suspense of waiting is gonna kill you guys.
i remember a couple years ago, my dad was at a car show. a freelance photographer came up to him and asked if he could take some photos of his 55 chevy. the guy did, and then submitted the pics and a write up of the car to a couple magazines. a couple months later, some guy calls my dad and said he saw his car on the cover of chevy rumble magazine. well, it took almost 2 weeks for the mag to hit the stands. it ended up in 2 issues that year. my dad freakin out waiting to see it...... both times.
then later that year, another magazine, traditional rod and culture, used my dad's car for a feature in their magazine. played the waiting game until that one came out, too.
the following year, the same thing happened.......... twice. a car we built for a guy ended up being a featured car in the oct. '06 issue of hot rod magazine. again, the whole waiting game thing. then, hot rod choose the car as one of the top 10 cars of hot rod for 2006. so, it was in the dec '06 issue of hot rod. yup...... had to wait to get that one too.
waiting sucks.
shameless plugs............
