the price on the forum was supposed to be $96. $115 is only for ebay. I'm waiting for the skinny version and a new pricing. I was told the extra cost from the second milling job would be a penny.
Something else you guys might want to consider is a one-piece version of these in some form of plastic with 2.2" on front and back. I'd think these would be popular with vintage racers for actual track use. You could have a durable lightweight wheel - with the proper offsets - yet still have that vintage feel. Perhaps the one-piece design and less expensive material would bring the cost down as well. Just a thought…
after I weighed the wheels, I'm considering the one-piece version, very seriously
thanks Paul
I got new version yesterday
save 5 grams on the front, 9 on the rear. it's the best he can do.
and, I noticed the black plastic ring weighs 17 grams itself.

I have worn my first set of RC10 Classic kit tires down until the front tires are shredded. I'd like to run something rubber on the kit wheels. Any suggestions?
I am new to the forum and have not yet figured out how the search works so I am reaching out to the crowd. Tried to filter by tires but says the topic is too broad.
Any case, I am in the final stages of a resto and need tires. With that said I...

I tried racing with some 3 piece rims on a high traction carpet track and it would occasionally pull a bead out. On a low - med grip surface they should be ok.
My RC10 Gold pan restore project is going well. I thought that I had a set of tires to use but they do not fit. I have the three piece rims both front and back. What modern day tires can I use with these rims?
Thanks,

Go with some tamiya subaru brat tires in the back. They are 1.6in and fit perfectly. With its re-release, they are easy to find and have the best tread pattern for both street and dirt use. The only thing is that you have to trim out the two...

Have You checked Pargu store ?
Right now his shop seems to be out of order, but he would have the wheels for Your builds.
Just got this off ebay from a guy in the next town to where I live - he kindly delivered it for me to work. The seller had apparently been given it by someone at his work, but as he was mainly into R/C helicopters he didn't use it.... his lack of...
