My first Gold Pan
Hi all This is my first RC10-project and I posted it a while back as I got it. Now I´ve painted the body and was looking for something different and still "vintage-looking" so I chose Copper and flat-black. The black is painted on the outside and I kind of like the contrast between the copper and the black. It also has mirrors from the Alfa Romeo Giulia (Tamiya), alu-rims and a few more things to come. This will probably take a while to finish and although I almost found all the missing parts, there´s still a few small things that I need. This is todays stand and I hope You´ll like it.

Hi Bent
No, I didn´t protect it with anything exept that I sanded the lexan very carefully and it seems that the black colour sticks very good on the lexan.
I don´t think I will run this one and I don´t know if I would recommend the outside-painting on a runner, but as a...what did You say..." Trailer Queen" it will do:) Thx a lot

Re: My first Gold Pan
Hello, Me personally I love painting the out side of a body exspecially with my dirt oval cars. I do 1 color on the inside and do the design and such on the out side. I do ot so that when it gets bumped scuffed and dinged I can take the heat gun to it and give it a bit of realism. But I only do this with new mas production bodys.

Thx all @a01butal: Yes, these are the SK-rims and I like them very much: nicely made, good workmanship!

Very cool paint! It's really refreshing to see something so simple but effective. It'll stand out in any crowd!
