rc10 rolls in the turns
Hello all, just found this forum and i'm very impressed. I've recently pulled my gold tub out of storage and re-built it for my son. my problem is i cant seem to keep it from rolling in the turns (on the street). besides softening the rear suspension, what options do i have? Are there any wide arms from maybe a different model i could install?
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of radio do you have? If it has adjustable servo end point adjustments you can just turn the steering back a bit. Stiffening the rear suspension may help it spin-out instead of roll.vintagerc10 wrote:Hello all, just found this forum and i'm very impressed. im running my old futaba magnum jr.
i'll try to stiffent the rear. i've been playing with different oil, springs and shocks and it seemed to not roll with soft springs.

There is a large wheel on the handle of the radio. Steer the tires all the way left or right and turn that wheel so the steering doesn't extend as far. If it's rolling you should still have plenty of steering. That way you don't have to throw off other applications with a stiffer suspension.vintagerc10 wrote:im running my old futaba magnum jr.

Well you can buy wide front a-arms from RPM right from there website. If you going to run it on the street a lot . A wide front tire and a really big rear sway bar and a regular front sway bar will stop that. and lower it some too.
I have a really fast RC10 street car set up like this and it won't roll. It will under steer but it won't roll

Re: rc10 rolls in the turns
just try lowering the whole buggy, you can move the shocks where they mount on the shock towers so the end result is the suspension arms sitting more horizontal, also put the shock clamps at the top of the shock..pics would help us..good luck
