I'm right there with ya. I picked up all the FT bits at the same time.

Re: slash owners be afraid, be very afraid........
This is why our track is keeping the slash class as a SLASH class.
I can see all the newbies cringing already
Very nice truck btw.

Re: slash owners be afraid, be very afraid........
Mr. Slash here....bring it on!! I am VERY comfortable driving my Slash, and we actually had a couple SC10s at our track last weekend. The SC10 is a beautiful machine, but with the great equalizer of tires at hand, I am not confident it is the Slash slayer.
How do those tires compare to the stock Traxxas tires? I have been thinking of picking up a set and a set of Proline switches, just to experiment with traction.
And if you havent seen them yet, JConcepts relased an SCT tire...Goosebumps. I am sure they will give crazy traction, but the just dont look the part.

Mine came in last week.....
.........finished building it Friday, finished paint on Saturday, ran it on Sunday
I swapped over the majority of FACTORY TEAM parts off my T4 (that I hardly raced last year) and sold over the weekend on fleaBay (for 150 = net cost of SC10 to me of $10).
Tires = ordered up a set of JConcepts "Goosebumps" for the rear (and a set of ProLine "Switches" and a pair of traxass stockers for some tire options)......
~ resultant inaugural run led to at least four of them placing orders

I wonder what BL motor could be accepted as equivalent to that awful sealed-endbell 12 turn thing the Slashes run in their (spec) class...

Re: slash owners be afraid, be very afraid........
i dont think it will ever be done... last weekend i go to put a new exhaust kit and header on it only to find out the darn header is a different collector design than the exhaust kit since its got a 1.6 16v out of a 96 tracker instead of the 1.3.Halgar wrote:No more projects for you until the Zuki is done!

not a huge deal since i can just cut the front flange off the cat and scab the little bendy piece to fit up to the header, but go figure i couldnt find a 2.25" 2 bolt collector flange locally and had to get one of ebay. so once again the pig is stagnant in the garage for a few weeks... but at least its now nice enough so i can drive the firebird to work. it feels funny as heck to sit so low, but i forgot how nice a v8 is...

I like racing in mod truck class too.RER40 wrote:Tires = ordered up a set of JConcepts "Goosebumps" for the rear (and a set of ProLine "Switches" and a pair of traxass stockers for some tire options)......

The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.
