Garbage Pail Kids
Anybody else remember these? They came out about 1987 I think. When they first came out I bought a bunch. I found about 100 at my parent's and then a while back bought a lot of 100 for about $12 shipped on ebay(I think). Classic stuff. I forgot about the "Wanted" posters on the back of some of them. I think my wife is right, I'm a total dork!

Re: Garbage Pail Kids
I collected them as a kid as well, I don't know why but I especially remember "Cheesy Charlie" aka "pizza face" Don't have any left, are they worth anything today?

Those were awesome too. I had some small sticker sheets. stupid.com had them a while back and I didn't buy any.

Re: Garbage Pail Kids
I had the Wacky Packages all over my closet door at my folks' house. There were also some gross-out stickers before the Garbage Pail kids (1970s) similar to Ed Roth's Rat Fink characters with bulging blood-shot eyes and tongues rolled out to the floor-- I can't remember what they were called. That door is now in their basement storage area as a shelf (he re-used all the old slab doors as shelving) and the stickers are still all over the bottom side. I'll try to get a picture of it!!

Re: Garbage Pail Kids
I definitely had some of those too!!!
I can picture one of this horribly ugly thing drooling in a dress with flies circling it's head.... maybe Booger Brenda??? Ahhh, the memories. These days some group would take offense and file a lawsuit.

Re: Garbage Pail Kids
We had them in the UK when I was a kid. I always remember the spotty one and the electrocuted one with the guitar. Somebody Jolted? The gum would taste amazing for 5 seconds then taste awful.

Man, I had those too! I remember collecting pacman cards with these. You could scratch off the little dots and "play" pacman on a card.

"Here comes the ice cream man!!"
My teachers used to have tons of them confiscated in her top drawer when I was in the 5th grade
Of course we had these...
Until "Wacky Packages" came out..

Re: Garbage Pail Kids
I had a pretty good sized collection of GP kids. I don't know how I managed to collect them, my parents hated them lol..... Rustin Justin was my favorite. I had no idea at the time that I would be rolling in rust professionally (auto restoration) at this age.

Re: Garbage Pail Kids
i'm surprised no one has brought up the fact that they started making gpk's again. they are currently on series #7. i was filling my car up with gas and when i went in to pay they had them sitting on the counter. and yes i bought a pack to bring back the memories.
