I'm just about done building my kit and I have the top shaft issue with the rubbing and binding of the slipper hub. I also have one CVA with some really bad binding when it's moved in any direction. Already emailed AE to see what they can do it was too late to call. Other then that it went together really well and was a joy to build.

I had the same issue with my top shaft, AE replaced free of charge. Are you sure the binding problem are being caused by the CVA and not something in the tranny? I had something like that until I spun the tranny up and the problem went away.

I went and took off the CVA's and only the left one is binding. It will not rotate smoothly off the car as the right does. Waiting for a reply from AE after forwarding my purchase and shipping info like they asked. Hopefully they will replace the parts since I did buy it from an eBay store. We shall see.

Worse case just call, but do it in the morning. I have had better luck with Don!

It looks like Tower discontinued the Worlds Car on their site. I wonder if that means this run is over?

I thought the Worlds car wasn't a limited run?

Maybe they're addressing the issues with the gearbox?
