Thanks. And now yet another question, Should the spring cups be solid or have the slot cut?

Re: TQ10 restoration suggestions?
This "archive" you speak of... Is there any way for me to get my greasy paws on it? Sorry. I've been away, but my busy season is near an end. There seems to be too many intelligent-well thought out posts on here. I'll do my bestest to bring that number down. Seriously though, is there a way I can view it without invading your personal privacy? That sounds like a cream dream!templeofspeed wrote:My archive of ebaY TQ10's does definitely show a few short-arm/non-turnbuckle cars with the motor guard holes and full side countersinking...It also shows a few long arm cars with TQ70 front tires instead of the typical TQ76's.Mine is a pretty beat late version, but had TQ20/TQ70's as delivered to me. Overall condition indicated that the tires were original, but I still slapped a set of TQ76's on the front...

Made some progress on the car this week. It's basically all built except for the missing front tires. I have not found tires yet. I also need to get the correct wing and would like to find some better shock bodies. The shock bodies on the car have some wear marks. I also need two more solid shock cups for the rear shocks. I saw a spur gear on the bay and am hopping to score it. I plan on getting the sidewinder body i have cut out and mount this weekend.

Re: TQ10 restoration suggestions?
If you are not the purist, I have a number of these NIP. They are essentially the same but the inner and outer spikes are shifted/offset half the distance to the next set of spikes as opposed to them all being in line cross car. Just shoot me a PM if that will work.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.
