i think the orig color of the jrx2 wheels is the best wheel color. id like to score a set for a build one day.......

Here you go Gary I only have 1 axle the other one hasnt arrived yet and I am still looking for 1 tire. but you cant beet NIP wheels they look great. the RPM steering arrived the other day and is now installed. i saw those rims also and never bid as i thought they will sell for a fair bit. wrong. great pick up rick.

made some progress installed some RPM srevo mounts built a transmission with MIP dog bones. new rear Tires from Red Scampi, a set of Losi staggared rib fronts from the parts box. hard coated Losi shocks I still need a cup for the slipper part # A-3124 if anybody has one. and I need to get my body from Mr Lexan and shes ready to run.

well I just got my Mr Lexan body and decals they are very nice I must say. I went simple, just the way I raced mine back in the day. I am waiting on one more part then it will be done. I am going to look for some orange dye and some white rod ends. if not these will get dyed black I dont like the purple with the orange.

Looks great, I was also planning on trying to dye some white ends orange on my build.

Rick that car looks like it wants to be driven! The orange really works well. Congrats on a beautiful ride!

It was built to be driven not a shelf Queen, but it is mostly new parts so it will be used genty, those NIP RPM parts are getting hard to find and getting expensive. but I love them thats what I raced back in the day.RedScampi wrote:Rick that car looks like it wants to be driven! Damn nice build Rick! I love the orange theme. You can never go wrong with the old skool Cool Aid, lol.
35 years of RC and still broke!
