with regards to the brushless talk, I think my cut off is below 5700kv. I run a 5700kv with a stealth trans, which just means less stripped gears to replace, and I cant seem to find a sweet spot on the slipper for it that info might help when getting excited about making a RC10 go fast

Junk? No RC10 is a junk car. It sounds like it may be a Team Car which is a cool car. If it has a milled out interior chassis and yellow wheels it would be a Worlds Car which is really cool.
