OMG Jeff this is a gorgeous car man, very nice work. I would say it could be a modern Radiant prototype. Looks like it has a lot of potential,

If there is enough demand I will have more chassis sets made. I had 6 cut and figured them out to be around $70/set, not including the bottom saddle pack chassis. With Composite Craft back around maybe something can be done through them. If not, all the files are with Penguin R/C and all they need is my request to make more. I never had the bottom chassis cut through Penguin, although they have the files for that too. For me, I would have Ruffy make some changes to the existing files based on things I found with this build, but the standard chassis dimensions can work too.
I will try to take some close up shots of the car today or tomorrow. I will also try to grab my work camera so the pics will hopefully be a little better. I planned to take close up shots of the rear arms and carriers to better illustrate what I did there. I may also take some shots of the steering rack I made from carbon fiber. What other items would you guys (or, youze guyz for you northerners) like to see close up?
I will need to order a couple saddle pack LiPo's before I can run the car. With any luck I will have them in the next couple weeks, which will allow me to finish the little things here and there before I test the car.
Here's a couple pics of the slipper. It's a B4 assemble that has the inner hub milled to move the spur gear closer to the chassis. It fits over the main shaft, which was turned from a solid piece of pulley stock. Again, thanks to bigjeepz for all the help on the machine work!!!!
Here's a couple shots of the rear arms and carriers. You can see the outer brace was removed on the arm and the hinge pin hole was enlarged in the carrier to allow the metal sleeves. The sleeves make it possible for me to use the standard B4 outer hinge pin. I wanted to stay with that design because the pin is captured.

That is not too bad.70 bux isn't a bad price. Tax time is just around the corner.
Jeff the car turned out great. Thanks for ginving me the chance to work on some of the parts. I will be waiting to hear what the first drive is like.
One of the changes as well was going with the 5 x 9mm bearings for the slipper shaft. The 4 x 9mm bearing was too small to allow the entire shaft to be mounted in the car.
I ran the car yesterday between the heats and the mains. Knowing the car was not finished and expecting certain issues I tip toed the car around the track. Aside from the little things I expected, the car drove awesome! It was absolutely planted. This was by far the best driving "modern" 4wd car I've driven. I will continue to work on it, tweak it and refine it until it is absolutely perfect.
The response from people that looked at it sitting on the table was priceless. Everyone that looked at the car loved it and asked if I was going to produce it. You never know....
