Re: LWB JRX-2 to JRX-T
if you use the modern double-o-ring shock carts you can get almost as much travel out of the short shocks as you would with the original jrx-t long fronts with the big cartridges.

Thanks guys, it does look quite streamlined with the buggy tower, I don't think it will look quite right when the front body mount and body go on so a JRXT tower it will be getting

Re: LWB JRX-2 to JRX-T
I ran my 2010 Vonats JRXT with the .6" stroke shocks and the Pro SE tower. They worked perfectly. Unless you are just wanting it to be truly correct, the long shocks are definetely not necessary.
You have a very nice truck now, BTW!

Re: LWB JRX-2 to JRX-T
Thank you Sir.
I'm not a box stockaholic (TBH I mostly wouldn't know what was stock or not ) but I do like to have one example looking stock ish and I've got the stuff to do it so on this one I think I will.
I put the buggy body on it to see how it would look for laughs, I now know why Losi stayed away from the Tamiya Mad Bull market

Re: LWB JRX-2 to JRX-T
This is a real nice looking JRXT
Is it based on the buggy that is in your Tamiyaclub showroom? It was one of my favourites on T.C, & had a really nicely painted shell IIRC... kinda sad to see its demise into a truck... but hey - the truck is a belter!

Re: LWB JRX-2 to JRX-T
This little buggy has been all over the place
My Losi collection started with this nasty thing which was the original donor car for this project Whch evolved in to this with a clean and the addition of a nip chassis But my yearning was for a JRXT hence this thread and with the help of a number of members it morphed in to this However all was thrown up in to the air with the arrival of this which carried an almost new set of components So with a bit of swapping around I've ended up with a mint JRXT
