That guy is stealing the designs I created, and no, he doesn't sell them anymore (at least he's not supposed to). He's also being forced by Tamiya and Kyosho to not rip their products off, either.
The RC10 Box art decals are currently not in production. There is a chance that they will be going into production soon in a VERY small run. They will be slightly more expensive than they previously were, because I am making some changes to them from last time to protect my artwork. I'll post here if and when they are available again.
I did know that he was asked to stop making Tamiya decals. But my question is what do they care they dont produce them anymore. It makes me not want to collect Tamiya anymore if I cant get a good decal at a good price without buying the originals and paying out the nose!
This all has been discussed ad nauseum, but Tamiya OWNS their own products and they are well within their right to protect their products—regardless of whether they are in production or not. Just because they don't produce redline Hot Wheels cars anymore doesn't give anyone the right to reproduce them and sell them as their own product.
You should not blame Tamiya for protecting their products and licenses.

I will definitely buy a set if they do go back into production!

The Kyosho Optima was my first 1/10th scale racer back in the 80's. For me this car ticked all the boxes back then and still does for me today. I have owned this new built Optima for many years now and is one of my most prized models.
I've had a go...

It was about time I started a new thread for this project for which I've been collecting stuff for years now. The least I can say is that it's quite a long quest to find early RC10 parts as very few early kits were released (and I would still like...

I am a bit stuck on the build as I am too lazy to take out the dremel and modify the front kick-up plate (sanding the AE logo, rounding the corners and mill the two front tube screw holes). In the mean time, I found a brand new Sanwa/Airtronics RX...
I got this originally back in 1992 in Santa Barbara. Ran it on the street for a few years ten shelved it as college became a priority. Pulled it out a few years ago, tuned it up and the fun began all over. Broke...

Hay Chris,
I made the ROAR stickers. I have some sheet of very very thin double sided tape. I went online, found a good ROAR sticker image, scales it correctly, printed it out, stuck it to the sheet, coverd it with packing tape and then cut it out....
Hey guys, I fell in love with this color scheme when I did one for a gold pan. So, I swapped out the Bulldog for a Protech on my B4.1 runner. It took some extra trimming, and is held on with velcro for easy lipo access. If you're wondering, I...

Cool, thanks for the explanation. How did you compensate with the shocks for the raised rear tower? Seems like if you raised the tower by 3/16 you would need to do something with the shocks. Maybe just removing a limiter and loosing a little droop?...
