Call 911, I think you have it right. I was mainly looking to outfit this trans for a part time runner. Wonder if any other trans slipper would fit?

I bought this tran frim ebay long time ago.
In the auction there where no motorplate si I had to do one out of carbon.
Here is the result.
Can someone link me to an project where this tran is in the car.

I have an MIP transmission that came off a RC10 graphite chassis. Will it fit the RC10T aluminum tub without modifications? I understand that the internals are the same as the stealth transmission, is this correct? Also looking for a new or used...

RPM did 2 versions, a 1.96:1 (I think...?) and a 2.65:1. Did MIP do an even lower ratio version?

How are the internals different?

Wondering who on here knows which MIP rear trans came in white plastic vs black plastic please?
I'm in the market for a white one, ideally SP1.

Gentlemen......I was referred to this site from Associated RC and MIP.

I have a 1984 RC10 with a MIP trans that I installed in '85. I used to race the S Cal circuit from 85-91 and love my buggy, modified with Hot Trick and MIP. I quit racing in '94...

Does anyone know of any other transmission internals that are compatible with the old MIP transmission? I've been wondering for awhile since I have 2 of them with custom gears and differentials. One tranny seems to have a Thorp differential with MIP...

Joey, to answer your original question. Tamiya Sand Scorcher gears are compatible with the MIP gear boxes.

Hey Guys,
Got a chance to pick up an RC10, and in the pictures I noticed the trans. I think its an A&L......wish I had more pictures of it. What do you think?

Hey Thanks for all the help guys. I never really got into the Losi stuff, it just wasn't popular in my area. So they sent me one other picture....not sure if it helps. Im going to try to snap it up anyway, might be fun to try a new brand :lol:

Question about the timeline of this transmission: when was it available with respect to the Hydradrive? Would a Hydradrive have ever been used on this transmission, or is the MIP slipper simply superior/preferred?

I have an early MIP transmission that I'm going to clean and re-grease. I was thinking of taking pics and making a thread....partially to show the process but mainly to document an early piece for reference purposes. Would that be of use or is it...
