A hair dryer and tweezers are usually all I need, 90% of the time. Using heat to lift stickers, the adhesive is usually melted and comes right off with the sticker. Rarely will there be adhesive residue left behind, except a few cases with really prehistoric stickers.

I like motor spray to remove decals. Peel best as possible and use motor spray to remove the residue. Motor spray also does wonders on removing double sided tape or servo tape!
