shodog wrote:Asso, great collection of vintage RC-10s. I like the care and detail you put into every one of them. Just one minor correction, the wheels on your graphite car are not tecnacraft. They look to be ones made by JPS http://www.jpspro.com/images/a8-Cat%20small.jpg
Thanks for the info Jim, I was pretty sure they were not Tecnacraft because they only did 3 piece rims, but since I could not identify them, I was guessing they were Tecnacraft as they are so beautifully made. The problem is that those brands were almost not sold in Europe (where I live) and it's very difficult for me to put a name on things I never saw in any LHS... by the way, does JPS still make aluminium wheels for the RC10 :?:

It's simply an Associated (a brand you must have heard of  ) battery strap taken from my B4 FT, the only problem is that I should mill the rear end of it in order to be between the battery and the rear battery cup...

according to their price list they do http://www.jpspro.com/images/Price%20List%20fs.htm

Tecnacraft wheels are a bit of an obsession with me. they were made in a small machine shop about an hours drive away from me. Here is a look at my collection of them. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=50156&sid=34

Asso, I got one of those battery straps and is it me but on the two screw posts where it attaches its a little wider than the batter cup so it pushes the battery cup out a little?

nope, the carbon battery strap from the B4 FT fits perfectly the black battery cup, though the rear part is too thick to go between the battery and the rear battery cup, some milling would do...

Asso do you have a part number? Mine is from a B4 FT but fits a little weird. I had really always assumed that the width would be good but I wasn't sure about the length and on this one the length is good but its a little wide?!
