I used water sandpaper to finnish the edges and the finnish is am very smooth feeling.

If it's for a runner, that might not be enough to prevent delamination. A single chip or ding could cause the surface edge fibers to separate. I noticed it myself just filing some of the edges.

I read of this tip on this forum as well as on RCTech.net, I share the advice with you and others who want to fabricate their own carbon fiber parts. Take it or leave it. 8)

I know that glue staff for many many years back.
In my touring car I have never had any problem with the cornerd but thanks for the tip.
No mid motor here.
Ill try to finnish this car tomorrow.

Oooo my gooodness what kind of car this will be.
Ultima has allways been one off my favorite rides.
Not ready yet but sonething where made today.
The electronics will be
LRO sxx v1
futaba 9551
sanwa m11
gens ace batt or orion
and an 17.5 motor.

Can someone tell me what the final gearratio is on this car.
Everything is original.
I'm planinf to run an 17.5t and zero timing so how big pinion shuold I use then.
Or should I put an 10.5t in and use epa on the throtle.

Will trye tomorrow to instal team c 2wd cars front c-part and hub.
Wy, well because I can then find very easy wheels to the car.

Be carefull: the numbers are here somewhere on the site, but there are different versions of the spur: depends on the module

3.03 unless you have a thorp overdrive set. Then it is 2.54. Nice carbon work btw. You'll have to count the teeth on the option house spur, idk about its count.

More like 0.6mod I think :wink:
And I could be wrong but I think I have 2 different sizes of those at home. So yes: count the teeth to be sure.
