Hey guys, does it look like the parts on the actual working car are the parts that go on the gold pan? I am thinking that for the most part they are. I am thinking of taking apart the working car and trying to assemble the gold pan, any thoughts? Also, is there a good way to make the white parts clean up and look whiter? Looking for some advice guys, at 42 I didn't think I would be at up with RC again but I am really intrigued by the history of this little car. Thanks in advance.
Love it. Looks like it was pulled off the dirt track, dusted off and forgotten about. Me personally, I'd not get rid of the graphite chassis. Could be a nice future dirtoval build. Especially with the Bolink carpet tires. I did the Peroxide trick thanks to this site. I used the wrong CLR as many said but glad to say the parts are bright white. Wow, nice score! Welcome. If you want to run it, don't use those wheels and tires, sell them here or keep it for a shelf queen as they are rare, especially in that condition.
Go brushless with modern running gear and definitely get a wide arm setup for more stability.
You could put everything but the bellcranks and foams back on the gold tub as a stock car then build up the Composite Craft chassis as another car with old aftermarket parts.
Thanks everyone for all of the information, I really appreciate it. I have decided to build the gold pan back but it will be a held queen and I will buy something else to run or maybe use one of the other chassis and build another car.
So it does look like most of the parts will go back on the gold pan then right? Excuse my ignorance but what are the bell cranks and where can I get the right ones?
I am gonna start taking it apart tomorrow, thanks again for the help and I look forward to anymore advice or comments you guys have. I loe this site.

The steering bellcranks are those aluminum pivot arms with the ball bearings in them that connect the steering servo to the front wheels. The one's you have are the right ones as they were an aftermarket part made by RCPS/Losi for the RC10.
They're not what came on the car stock though, so if you were to rebuild the gold tub as it originally came you wouldn't use them. You've got the original servo savers that were used as the bellcrank in your parts lot so you don't need to go looking for them.
Personally in my opinion, I'd keep the car the way it is. But I'm a big fan of dirt oval. I looked at the pics again just amazed of how much of a period correct look it is. I'd find a vintage late model body and paint it retro looking! Then I'd start collecting pieces on here for the Gold pan. But to each there own. But you have a perfect graphite chassis, bellcranks, tires and bumper for a retro oval car! Again, nice find.
Edit: Oh snap, you have a spare chassis too. AGH. You lucky SOB...lol. Well in the future if it comes up for sale, hit me up.
