It will have an opening to be bump started. Have to find my dremel to cut the opening still.

Kinda hard to see but in this picture you can see I haven't finished bolting my engine mount to the chassis cause the flywheel won't allow the mount to sit flush on the left side. Hopefully I've done it just right so the flywheel doesn't hang out the bottom but is just flush with the bottom.

That's cool I haven't seen that before. Just another one I'm going to have to keep my eyes out for I guess. That looks like a CZ1 engine with the cone starter on the rear. Now that I've added a rear mount on mine I could probably eliminate the part that bolts to the back so a pull start engine could mount up. IDE like to get even thicker gauge alum if I did that though.

Over my mothers house on her computer looking at the archive RCCA magazines and I found a cool picture from a March '92 magazine.

Would be cool to find more pictures of this. I'm guessing this was one of his first attempts at a conversion kit? I'll keep looking just wanted to share.

Finished......

All I have left is to top it off with a retro theme paintjob. And I'll throw a CZR in there eventually but this will do for now.
Thanks for looking.

My kyosho Stinger had aCZ1 with the cone starter. I didn't have an airplane starter to use with it so I had to use a string to start it. Wrap the string around, pull, and repeat until it fires up. What a pain that was.

Thanks guys.

I don't have plans to anytime soon. Maybe someday if I pick up a nitro car to run and I have the supplies then I would consider it. But I don't want to buy the stuff just to run this. I just enjoy building these days.

Came out nice. What's wrong with the motor you have? CZ-Z made more power.

Just trying to make it "pre RC10GT", I don't know the exact release date but I believe the CZZ came out after the RC10GT

And it's a brand new never started engine on an old beat up truck.

The OS website says 92 for the pull start CZZ, and 93 for the non pull.

Well, I don't know where ALL of them are but I have a NIP Dudgeon A Main conversion kit and......

There's one on ebay.....

I posted pictures quite a while ago of the original mass produced truck; the one in the picture above was one of Kunio's first attempts....

OH, almost forgot - I have a A Main Losi conversion too - but it's not new! :)

I tried to find some of my postings on the truck but don't seem to be able to locate them.... :(

That looks spiffin'!
The guys I race with over the summer race nitro stadium trucks (alongside some other electric classes)
I don't own anything nitro, but I've wanted to race with them. How funny would it be to show up with something like this.
"What is that, an RC10GT?"
"nope... just a regular 10T"

That little exhaust hose looks like it was made for that job :)
