I have heard food grade silicone works and 303 protectant. Don't use anything with solvents in it.cole455 wrote:Hmm... I must've given the wrong impression; this thread seems to be going the wrong way... You'll be searching the bay for a whileI rarely ever sell anything (I'm still sporting 3 boats, in fact!)
I'm planning on keeping it in addition to acquiring a couple beaters... Is there anything I should do to preserve for display? Specifically the tires.

I wouldn't use anything with silicone in it. Remember dash boards of the 80's - 90's?
Aerospace 303 Protectant is a good choice, one of the preferred in the collector auto scene.

Re: Rc10 worlds car I forgot I had!
Just got home from a 4 day trip and dug around until I found the world car box. I'm a little disappointed; I was hoping to find my other body, wing and was really hoping there were some leftover decals too but came up empty-handed...... oh well.... Well, I found a couple more things. Only a couple original decals left, I must've used the majority on my other body (which is still MIA)
