Reviving an old thread. I am working on my vintage racer 5 link plan and looking for 2.2 wheels. Seems you guys have b4 wheels working but as my pics show, I do not have enough clearance even with spacer. The hub is too close and the lower link, even with spacer?? The yellow wheels are fresh out of package B4 and the whites with tires are from my B4.1 RTR, neither will work. I can see how the fronts will work but will require small spacer to clear steering ball end.

What specific part number evader wheels are referenced above, I have DTX9841 which do not fit the rear either. Looking around perhaps have my answer for the B4 wheels, custom works .125 spacers?

to get b4 wheels to work you need wheel spacers (i use custom works .125 spacers) and you need to space the rear ends of the trailing links out 1/8-1/4 inch.

see the blue and brass spacers.

You can get them, as well as a house brand version in different widths at http://www.kippshobbies.com look under drivetrain parts.

I've got a pair of each thickness .125 .15 .20" for adjusting the width of my various racers, very handy to have when mixing and matching wheels on different chassis setups.
