Yes, I think it may have been solved. By adding a Kyosho gear from this gear set (or similar) I think I can get a reasonable drive ratio at the front.Asso_man! wrote:Ed, did you think about getting the right ratio on the front drive train?
But although I've been watching this for months I haven't got round to buying it as my paypal doesn't work.

just noticed your pic is for a different car than my gear is of: I got an optima gear, not gallop.
Teethcount may be different but module should be the same.
To make it really work you'll need a bigger gear at the front, AND a bigger gear on the outside at the center axle.
