Thanks for the kind comment Paul and yes these are the ones I'm after and I already ordered them last week. I also plan to install real lights in there I'll keep you guys updated when the body will be painted, but that will most probably take months, so stay tuned!

I recently found some nice add-ons for the body: a nice double exhaust pipe as well as rear-view mirrors that will perfectly match the ones in the 1:1 picture. Last but not least, a nice set of LED lights that will make it totally scale. I just need to find a very good painter now

That set up would look fantastic on a Baja project I'm doing.
I've got a buddy of mine who 's putting an HPI Camaro body on his...It looks just like it was made for it!..PERFECT fit.
I'll put a picture of my shelf queen DS up soon.
Right now it's got a Bolink '65 Mustang on it, but I think I'm going to take it up a notch or two in the detail department..I've been inspired by this site...I may been defecting to the Chevy side soon....
Projects and shelfers: Late Edinger, RC10B2, Dual Sport, GT, Kyosho Turbo Ultima, Triumph, Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Blackfoot/Monster Beetle, '67 Beetle, Nikko Rhino, Traxxas Fiero, Slash, Hand-built Dune Buggy..all on here somewhere...
Some small update here, found some nice RPM gold knock-offs that resemble the ones that are on the #23 car, I might have to paint them with a glossy green to obtain a blue shade. I would like to find to wheels that looks like the ones in the pic, but I haven't found anything yet, if anyone has an idea, please let me know. I also added a HPI 2 speed trans and a Stealth tranny coming form a world's car. The body has been in the painter's hands for months now, I hope to get it soon

After 6 months at the painter's, I finally got the body back and painted. There are no decals on it so far, everything is painted! Not the best job ever, but that will do, especially as I got it for free. I now have to trim the body, add the exhaust pipe, wipers and back mirrors from ABC Hobby and a few decals. To finish it, I would like to find rims that match the real thing as much as possible, but I didn't come with anything so far, any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Small update, I roughly trimmed the body this week end to see how it sits and it looks like I will have to trim the front bumper a bit to make it fit perfectly. I also mounted the back mirrors that perfectly match the real car. The body mounting holes do not match at all the ones from the DS and anyway I would prefer not to have to drill extra holes to attach the body. I saw this system from ABC Hobby not so long ago and thought it should do the trick:
I have those same mirrors retro-fitted to my 1968 volvo amazone!
The ABC solution looks good. I used to make velcro mounts for my bodies (before I stopped caring about a couple extra holes) but those mounts looked kinda ugly when the body was removed.
Wow, David that looks great! I remember as a kid seeing one of those at the local car dealership back in PA. They kept it covered up in a dark corner of the dealership.
