I don't know the real thing very well.
What is wrong with the proportions? I take it the shocks are oversized, anything else?

Re: Progress On My BBT Sprintcar
You would have a very large body with very short legs to be able to fit the cage if it were a real car fitted with a motor...then again the motor would be further forward in a real car...

Re: Progress On My BBT Sprintcar
This isn't exactly true. The seating position in a "real" sprint car is very upright. Your feet are almost directly below you as opposed to streached out like in most cars. When I first saw the real deal I couldn't imagine how one could drive in that position!tizeye wrote:You would have a very large body with very short legs to be able to fit the cage if it were a real car fitted with a motor...then again the motor would be further forward in a real car...

A midget is even more compact than a sprinter. That's why most of those guys average around 5' 6".

Re: Progress On My BBT Sprintcar
...I've really got no idea..been thinking of fluro orange, black and chrome...but not too sure. I now have 4 bodies, so I might paint the wings a solid color and the bodies different colors...it's something that I've been putting off for awhile now but it's got to be done..soon..

Get that bad boy painted up and post some pics. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Re: Progress On My BBT Sprintcar
This seems to be taking forever but at last I have the right body...the last body I bought which I also thought was the right one is away getting painted in a mystery paint job...something to do with lots of flames and chrome...anyway the new body is exactly the same as the original in almost every detail...I say almost because some trimming lines are missing. The best bit has to be the driver figure...he looks like he should be in a fighter jet but he still looks at home inside the car. I'm thinking of going to paint this body in the Quaker State colors...what do you guys think?
