Friday night Metal! This album was always in rotation when off-road racing on Friday nights, 1991..

Saw something earlier that reminded me of this so I figured why not... 8)

Hadn't listened to this in at least 3 years(maybe more), but a good one that comes to mind tonight for some reason. There was a great quality video that used to be on youtube years ago, but was pulled(a rights thing I assume). This is the same video, but the quality is poor. I really like the effect when the chorus plays. 8)

For some reason that made me think of this. Very first time I ever heard them was at Ozzfest '99, and was immediately hooked. Haven't listened to any Static in years.

I've had Al Stewart's "On the border" running through my head for days .

I usually lean 80's on Saturday night, but for some reason this is on my brain. It bothers me that anytime I mention for whatever random reason, no one around here seems to remember it. I swear it was in regular rotation when it came out. :?

I had a hankering for this song and stumbled across what might be the worst fan video ever made. I dig their spirit though!

Was riding in the Jeep earlier with the wife and she just starts scrolling through the tunes, and then just passes on this gem.

I'm like Woo Woo Woo WTF?
She looks at me all puzzled.
Me: "It's just my favorite Chili Peppers song."
Her: "I've never heard this song in my life."

Hadn't seen it in a while so I broke out Animal House today. The comedy has really held up over the years. I forgot what a great scene this performance made for. Right up there for simulated live performances within a movie scene, if that's a category...

Been trying to learn the lyrics to Leonard Cohen's Suzanne , when I used to work for the AA (like auto club) I spent a lot of time on my own , I spent a deal of time learning lyrics and how to sing them , 6-7 days on with 2-3 days off 24-7 365 a year in all weather for 12 years , I miss the time I had to learn songs , not much else .

Maestro, A little Tenacious D please... 8) The whole Dio Tribute album is pretty fun if you haven't heard it.
