well, in some of the pictures posted, and in the long thread link in the first page, there are multiple pictures of the houge arm mounts. black plastic, kind of tapered, with 2 8-32 screws to attach to the chassis.

you can easily search on this forum and find a nice A&L trailing arm car, there are a few.

see what you can find. if you still have trouble, we can post some links.

grumbles, i took a look at your pics again, and i think you actually have an A&L chassis. not a houge. take some pics of the whole car and post them up. not just close ups of certain areas.

Here's a side view and a top front view. You can see the angle that the rear shocks are leaning inward. What is not visible is the bottom mount I previously described. If needed I can post a pic of that as well. This is a Composite Craft chassis with the Houge arms and mounts. You can also see the spacer underneath the inner mounting point for the arm mounts. This was to correct the extreme amount of negative camber that came with these cars.

Thanks for all the input everyone. The only thing that made me think that this was a Houge car was name imprinted in the arms. Not knowing any better I took it for face value. After looking at the pics you've posted of Houge's I see a difference in the rear of the chassis. Since pics say 1K words I'll take a few tomorrow and post them in the evening.

Once again I appreciate all the help :D

I should have chose a better angle on this one, maybe a bit more overhead.

a shot from the top or bottom would've been nice. but going by the a&l motor guard, arm mounts, shock mounts, shock tower, and the roundness of the chassis by the rear arms, i'd say that it's definately an a&l chassis. but mounts don't seem to be in the right spot. are there multiple holes in that area? does a battery even fit in the bulkhead with the mounts in front of it?

i'd find a pair of a&l rear arms and be done with it.

Just an observation- it doesn't look like you have enough downward travel in the rear. If the lower spring mount hits you could try B44 mounts. They will raise the spring away from the point where it mounts to the arm.

it would if it had a&l arms on it.

plain and simple, he needs to have the correct parts. he doesn't, and it's causing problems. i still want to see a pic of the bottom, though.
