Is anybody using lipo in one of these? I just got mine but havent set it up yet. Switched over to a lipo in my old Airtronics tx and loved it, but I read in the rctech thread that it causes the flysky tx to run hot and could eventually cause problems.

I don't use lipo in mine but just don't see the need for it personally. I'm sure there might be a reason to have one but a set of alkalines last a year or more for me in mine so the expense is at a minimun so I can use that $ elsewhere. Just works for me (tight with money  ) that way.

My old tx eats up batteries for some reason so I switched over to lipo. Paid $8 a few months ago and still havent even charged it yet.

I still need to send mine off to one of the guys on rctech to have the new programming put on it, but its a great radio though! I havent had any issues with it at all. Best of all...cheap recievers!

I've had mine for several months now and no issues at all. I power it with 2200mah Nimh batteries from Hobbypartz.

Looks like they raised the price for the new year. Still a great deal though.

I see it was raised $5? 40 for a brand new tx and rx is still a smokin deal. Oh and for the Canucks, I've ordered 3 times from them and there was no duty!

Just stumbled upon this radio and was shocked at the price. Especially the receivers! For $63 shipped i get the fs-gt3b tx and 4 rx's!!! I will still dream of m8's and m11's but until then i think this will suffice!

I bought one for my son, and 3 extra receivers. I am on the edge of selling my M8/spektrum set up and buying another with a handfull of receivers for myself.
