Re: jrx2? me?
front is stock, rear is obviously the same as mine, the body retainer has been cut out, now you should check the back side to see if it is countersunk or not, and if not, I would say mine is custom countersunk...

Re: jrx2? me?
mystery solved! for me at least.
I have a front shock tower that is thicker than stock and looks like these trinity products
Mine is a perfect match to scr8ps rear, complete with cut-off body-mount tab
They would be fine for a truck I guess.

i took mine off to check the back, and the holes aren't countersunk.Asso_man! wrote:front is stock, rear is obviously the same as mine, the body retainer has been cut out, now you should check the back side to see if it is countersunk or not, and if not, I would say mine is custom countersunk...

Re: jrx2? me?
anthony posted some pics of his early one, so i figured i'd update mine since i'm not doing much of anything else.
i got a nice pair of rear kit tires from jay (thanks again
). i still plan on tearing it apart one day to clean it up, and try to get another rear tower. but, not knowing when that day would come, i was bored one day, so i added the missing electronics, and also added a nice ol' skool parma matched panasonic stick pack.

Wow, that is nice. I am so jealous of all of these JRX2's on this site. You all are really lucky to have these. Those tires alone are fantastic!!! Great job so far. Tear her apart and clean her up, lol.
35 years of RC and still broke!

Re: jrx2? me?
well, i got the body painted today. obviously inspired by gil losi jr's, circa '85 dogfighter. i didn't spray the wing yet, if i'm even going to. i might just leave it clear....... we'll see.

Re: jrx2? me?
indeed, the Jrx2 has a 20° kickup while the Pro has a 30° one which is obviously way better for handling.Momo5 wrote:Is the kickup degree different in the Jrx2 vs the pro? Just curious

Re: jrx2? me?
I love the JRX2. These are possibly the best cars of their time. Not that there is anything wrong with an RC10 but the Jrx2 is fast, handles realy well and looks HOT..HOT..HOT!!!

Re: jrx2? me?
Wel done on the paint job! The body looks mean.
Small question: does anybody know why there are 2 holes in the top of the front bulkhead?
