The motor colors are a really nice touch. What are those front arms? Very nice.

the front lower arms? they came from pargu, an ebay seller. he made few more parts for 834B like rear shock mounts, front lower arms, the C hubs as the start of this project. and, the motor plate too

what i did right after i opened the package was putting the upper arms from 2 different persons together, along with the steering knuckles. actually I had to. it wasn't a car before these parts
then changed the steering center link for letting adjust them with ease

tried few different wheels then

a little update with used novak gears and the battery plate.

pargu and i have been talking about these wheels before and finally started the project this morning. we are making aluminum wheels with the original and custom works design. this white wheel from a10butal has deeper offset then the yellow original. and the offset looks better and seems to run better than original to me
IMG_8064.JPG
and this picture shows how deep offset looks

let's see how pargu's work is going

Deeper (negative) offset increases track width and therefore will improve cornering stability. To be honest, I don't quite get "the thing" with all the buggy wheels these days having major positive offset...

I sent him an email to ask but he hasn't answered yet. (HAven't heard from him for about 2 years actually).
That SRB body looks real good the 834!

All those buggies are at max legal width.
Reducing offset allows the arms to be longer : more up-down travel of the wheel with less angle changes for the suspension and drive shafts.
