Technically, the first 2WD offroader from Schumacher was the T402, which was a CAT without drive to the front wheels. Apparently it was atrocious in its day, but might actually go pretty well on a modern track due to the mid motor layout.
The Top Cat was the first "from the ground up" 2WD offroader from Schumacher.
