Re: So............. Where are all of the builds at?
I am gearing up airbrushing again.... From my momma's house, I dug out the old 15g compressor my father gave me for my 16th... (was his since I was 10) Found a cheap filter at the local harbor frieght tools. A friend at work "donated?" several 1/10 Skyline bodies I am going to shoot. One of them will be inspired by the Veilside Rx7 (Copper/black) I will post photos when I am done. Before I met my wife I was into a LOT of other interests... Pegasus hooked me up with a couple of Pactra Bottles (discontinued) for 1.25 each (better then the 4.30 typical)
If the rain stops, and the humidity falls, we will get this show on the road...

Re: So............. Where are all of the builds at?
I've had a load of things going on I won't bother you with.
Here's the good news.
After learning the Nurnberg toy exhibition is still (contrary to what I was told) ONLY accesible for professionals active in the toy commerce, I decided (about 10 days ago) to participate in a 2 day race event in the same weekend instead.
It turned out they were already fully booked for awhile, but then some folks dropped out and I could enter the 4wd class.
So I finished of my black dog ; mostly over last weekend, including most of the nights and friday night (been on a business trip to Swiss all week)
I will get some pics up some time this week. (Like richie said; not a priority during the build and race; sorry)
I ended up nearly last of all 4x4's, but rest assured, most of that was due to my driving, not the car.
Maybe I can find some pics of the race and my flying hot dog / YZ10 on the clubs site. Keep you're eyes open

Re: So............. Where are all of the builds at?
Well, since being laid off in Nov. I really haven't done a whole lot. Relationship woes and my son have put many of my hobbies on the back burner.
Here's what I have:
-I have a Graphite RC10 that will be my vintage racer for club meets.
-Picked up a 2nd 10t off CL for cheap- most likely a shelfer
-Picked up a team car hybrid and Proline monster truck conversion.
I'm trying to clean out and make space in the garage so I can have an area to build.

Re: So............. Where are all of the builds at?
My RC money is all tied up in my new Losi 8ight right now. Got a new Spektrum radio, that free rx it came with is waiting for the right vintage ride. Have to hold off on the spending for a little while until the wife calms down from this last ordering frenzy, I hated to spend $105 on a personal transponder but it's a necessary evil of racing. she realy loved it when I showed her the tiny bag and told her how much it cost

And to see it confirmed by you jay, especially while I used one of the bodies I bought from you in this build... luckily I have a thick skin and will stubbornly go on annoying folks
