Re: Kent Clausen RC10L Tide Build
This is a pretty neat car to build, good luck with the project. That quick change battery is pretty crazy looking.
Kent, if you are feeling in the mood to take some detailed pics of the car, I am sure there are others who would like to see the pics.

Re: Kent Clausen RC10L Tide Build
An update-the donor 10L has gone through customs and should be here in a day or two.
I've managed to find lots of decal sheets, but none in 1 1/10th scale, but the scans might come in handy,if I decide to get some printed up.
What a bad ass looking car the real deal was,I wonder if it's survived, after all these years?
If anyone has a set of TRC rubber capped tires on BBS style rims and a body,I'm after 'em.

I'm sure several of the real cars survived because a typical NASCAR teams builds at least 6 cars a year.
Here's a pic of the #17 Tide Lumina

Alrighty, the donor 10L is here and it's not just in good condition,it looks like it's never been run!
Not a scratch on it.
Looking very hard for a Lumina body,if anyone knows where I can find one, please help!

Re: Kent Clausen RC10L Tide Build
I picked up yet another stash of vintage RCCA mags and came upon this,in a 1994 issue.
Kent's nickname is revealed!
As is a photo of him, sans beard.
Plus another good angle of the paintwork.
Looks like I've found a body for this project!
Fingers crossed!
I'm going to be doing a lot of scanning, soon,so keep an eye on the scans page for lots of Losi & AE goodies.
