A-stamp long arm updated runner

I swapped in the 3 degree rear arm mounts last night. In doing so, I discovered that the rear hubs it had were 0 degree. Here's one of the old ones (left) on the same pin as one of the new 0 degree hubs I just bought. I figured all the original rear hubs were 1.5 degrees, guess not...

So it looks like I only had 1.5 degrees per side, all from the arm mounts. Hopefully the 3 degree mounts will help give me the corner exit steering I'm looking for. I guess I'll find out on thursday night. I still have the 25 degree castor blocks I'm holding onto (currently running 30's), but I'm trying to just change one thing per week.

I did the bigbore spring conversion yesterday. Even just on the bench, the suspension feels much smoother through its travel. It has a much more purposefull look to it too
I'll see how it goes on the track tonight. For now I'm running whites on the rear and blacks on the front. I may get a set of brown fronts to try out if the car is still understeering on power as it did with the small bore black springs up front. We'll see.

Pretty good, smooth for sure. The main issue remains push during corner exit. Next week I'll try the 25 degree blocks and see if that helps at all.

Brian, we should look at reducing front droop first (in my opinion), moving to the 25 degree caster blocks should exaggerate the exit push issue.

Adding caster (leaning the uprights further back) will generally give less initial turn-in, but more on-power steering and better straight line stability, while decreasing caster will generally add some turn-in, but at the expense of on-power steering and straight line stability.

By reducing front droop, less weight should transfer to the back leaving you more front grip upon exit.
