Front shock tower question

Post by Daddeo »

I'm starting to build my A&L chassis and want to do something a little different atleast. I have a buggy with what I believe is a A&L front shock tower for the RC10T. My question is, would it look alright on a A&L glass chassis kit?

I would think it would be a great fit for the a&l chassis

what other choices do you have shock tower wise, should put them on the table as well.

that tower is for the monster truck conversion using 1.32 shock. i personally think it looks completely out of place for use on a buggy. if you like the looks of the taller front shocks, i would send daryl an e-mail and get the pro front tower for the 1.02's (part #2011 i think). it looks much better, imo. i had one on the a&l car i built awhile back.

I ran one on my buggy, using rear truck shocks. I liked it, made jumping a bit smoother. I have since swapped it out and returned my car to the std. Team car configuration.

Yeah, I thought it would help smooth out jumps a bit but this one will only do shelf duty. The buggy pictured though has a very interesting future I shall share soon ;).
