What I did get at the swap meet
What I did get at the swap meet
Our local hobby shop ran their first annual swap meet this past Sunday and it was a fair turnout with about a dozen vendors and a raffle and racing going on in the background. There wasn't much vintage stuff there but a few things that were pretty cool. I had my eye on an RC10 and a Schumacher Top Cat but while I was getting money HotRodJosh swooped in from the next stall and grabbed them both cheap.
See his noob thread for details. All was not lost though, I had money to burn and came home with a few nice things. Here's what I got:

Yeah, i needed those gas cars like I need another hole in my head. Maybe I can make two good runners out of them without going broke myself. I soaked, scrubbed and sprayed them down - they were really dirty. Now the dis assembly begins.

Redscampi- I could tell you what the ofna cars are if you can post some more pics of them. I have been into ofna's for well over a decade. I love them hard to beat for the price.
Re: What I did get at the swap meet
The top pic is a world's II car it appears because of the gold wheel hubs.
The middle one is a newer style ultra lx much better than the older ones. It also has the upgraded aluminum steering bellcranks and shock towers.
The one with the yellow wing is an ultra gt. It's the original ulta. If the chassis has any kick up then it has a world's edition conversion.
On all of the buggy's the silver shock towers bend really easily the blue ones don't seem to have that problem. I would put the blue ones on the chassis and keep the silver ones for spares.
On all of the chassis's the parts are interchangeable. They are alot of fun to run that's for sure. I still have my old ultra gt cause it just won't quit.
