Swap meet finds
Well, Shodog's recent flea market luck must have rubbed off, because I picked up a pretty good deal today at the local HobbyTown's swap meet. One of the folks there had a few vintage pieces that I spotted right away. He turned out to be a guy I raced with back in the day at the Sugar Bowl and Silver Wings tracks. We had a great time talking about the good old days, and $80 later, I left with this lot.
I picked up the little bench vice from another guy for $1.- scr8p

Re: Swap meet finds
You made out like a bandit on that one.
I love the wing mounts and buttons on that graphite. Is the crossbar on that battery cup on the graphite car CF? Looks great.

Re: Swap meet finds
I pretty much gave him what he was asking. He'd already been there a while and was very glad to get the cash. Based on the crowd, that stuff would've probably ended up back in his garage. Most were focused on the RTRs and helis.klavy69 wrote:very nice find! I hope you gave him what he was wanting...otherwise I'd feel bad about that one
