That's cool! I just picked a bunch of Hyperdrive stuff and want to try it out again. I like the hand draw diagrams! gotta love old skool!

I emailed Hyerdrive last week asking if they had any old stock, he said he thew it all out last year

Ok here is the question. What are target ranges for both gear ratio and rollout supposed to be for 1/12 pan cars on small carpet road track? I have looked at some charts and some calculators for the numbers, but what are the target numbers that you...

Ok so I have bought 2 stealth buggies and 4 rc10t's. What is the ratio on the trannies? I am looking to make 1 runner out of each and 1 shelf queen out of each.

The trucks trannies need to be rebuilt and I've heard that the ratio inside needs to...

Hello all,

What would be a good starting point pinion for these RC10's with the following:

1st car

RC10 Graphite
Stealth Tranny
17T Double CAM Pro-Motor
81T 48P Spur
Pro-Line Bow Tie rears & 2.2 wheels

and

2nd Car

RC10 Gold Pan
6-Gear...

I wouldnt compare these trannies to the B4 car...the B4 has an internal ratio of 2.6:1, the stealth is 2.25:1, the 6 gear is 1.85:1...

So
B4 was running
81/24 * 2.6 = 8.775 (final drive ratio is spur/pinion * transmission)

Stealth
81/21 * 2.25 =...

Just came across some pictures of a Hyperdrive car I got maybe two years ago. It is the Hyperdrive H10, the first of their 1/10 cars. Pictures are not really good maybe others later.

I wonder how much of that car was made by Delta. Besides the shocks, the front beam, t-bar pivot, and bumper are all the same parts as the one's on the Delta Villan (and the McAllister clones). Probably all...

My first finished Hyperdrive with new twinn k rubber caps and protoform pontiac. I the first origanal hyper 10 need to get started on that when i get some time (ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG) never enough!

that bolink car has an old mrp oswego supermod body on it. thats a pretty rare body, i managed to get a nice unpainted one minus the wing off ebay last year. ive always loved thoes bodies and it looks great on that car.

So my hyperdrive stuff came today there are enough parts to outfit my rc10 mid lethal weapon trans plus my other to mid cars with spares, but they feel a little dry.

So is it correct that a good soaking in wd40 will bring them back to runner...

If you are running it in a mid engine rc-10, you will not need to make any changes to the transmission.

Does anyone know what parts come with the Hyperdrive RC10 full race kit mentioned at the end of the ad displayed in the above link? I already have a belt assortment and some pinion and spur gears but that looks like it is using a diff of some sort....
