I just bought a slash and I have to say it's one of the funnest rc's I've ever driven. The only real problem is the stock shock oil is way to soft, and it tends to diff out in corners. Lots of fun to race too, and indestructible.

That new jc body is kind of weird looking. I don't know if I like it or hate it. :?

Sorry,

Call me a traitor.

I've made up my mind after seeing a few too many broken SC-10's

Associated just don't seem to hold up as well as it used to.

I think 2 Slash's are in order..One for me & one for my son...
(I'm trying to keep it on the down-low for Christmas, so I've got to wait.)

I love the look of the SC-10, but that brittle chassis design is just silly. (Who's the engineering fool that designed a front bulkhead that's as wide as a thumbnail?) I ain't dropping a bunch of $$ to have it break the first time an 11 year old pull's a "Dukes of Hazzard" manuver.

I hate to drift outside the "Associated consortium", but...I've never broke a chassis..by ANY manufacturer.

The bulkhead problem is the reason I didn't go with the sc10. I have too many break when just landing a little nose down on the race track. My daughter hit a curb full speed in the slash and aside from a missing body clip it was fine.

Here's my reason to get the Slash, and what sold it for me:

Try any of this with an SC10!

That's awesome. An sc10 would never survive that kind of torture.
