Re: Vintage C&M Cobra w. Cheetah front end
Nice i was wondering who outbid me on that. The chassis was listed as cobra but im sure that is the tms aftermarket 10l wide chassis. The rear end is a cheetah narrow rear end kit that includes the t plate and cross brace.

How about a shot of the underside, that's a slick rear end, even by today's standards

Yeah the chassis is actually pretty narrow along the battery tray while the front is wide like a 235mm chassis, I will post some pics of the rear and a shot of it with an 10L chassis below.
THanks for the interest,

Re: Vintage C&M Cobra w. Cheetah front end
Here are some more pics, included with chassis "comparisons" using a 10L and 10L SS fiberglass chassis. The car is not complete, as it needs some hardware, but no longer smells (like smoke). The chassis does seem to be a replacement chassis as all the bolt holes are the same as the wide 10L, it is a little longer than the 10L SS Chassis. I am wondering was that a rear Pod made to bring the Motor closer to centerline, and meant to be used in Oval racing considering the tweak Springs?
Thank you.
And any information is greatly appreciated.
PS, please apologize the "rough" RC10L Wide FG Chassis, it will be getting some attention later...

So this was one of the evolutionary steps to the narrow oval cars of today? Probably came out before narrow stock car bodies were made. At the first insane speed runs guy were cutting wide oval bodies down the middle and overlapping them to make a more narrow body.
