yokomo yr4 ?????????

Post by matthew john »

anyone got any pics of these cars? are they anygood, or worth much to a collector or Yokomo guy.

im supposed to be getting a yr4 in a trade with some cars from a local guy, never heard of one of these before.
obviously ill turn around and clean it up and post it and trade for a gold pan or parts, but if its not "popular " or has no value to some one, ill pass it up.

think its graphite with rpm stuff, i thought it was a awd, but he said its only 2wd due to a belt or something.
can some one post a pic of wat it looks like?

YR-4 was very popular here and in japan. and so many variations were released
YR-4, YR-4 compact, YR-4 II, YR-4 II Pro, YR-4 Type J (for stick batteries). YR-4 GP (gas)
and YR-4 based F-1, YR-4 with offroad tires with Pajero body (wheels and tires were similar with tamiya TA01 F150)
and many more

I have a couple in paieces and one runner.

They are among the first if not first 190mm touring cars and basically a heavily altered version of the old 870C
