after seeing some pretty cool beatle on this and TC i have been bitten by the bug (lame i know but the crime would be not to use the pun) so i polished up a hole ridden pan with a hot trick wide front end grafted in a kyosho lazer trans half a graphite chassis makes the front shock towers rear gold shocks front and rear andys front arms 15 turn monster motor its pretty fast in the sand .
as soon as i get my lipos im sure it will realy fly oh and i have a couple of mini mags for headlights i only got one in for now i coudnt hold on any longer i had to drive it im looking for a light bar and a scale motor to go in the back.

good idea to put a mid-motor transmission on the short wheelbase: should help to keep the front tires in touch with the ground.
If you can : flip the servo over and mount the ESC across from it. That's a heavy piece you'd rather keep low in the tub.
