Front end protection available!

Post by SofaKing »

Hey guys & gal, I'm not sure if anyone else has already discovered this and posted it already. If so I appologize but it appears RPM has re-issued the "Shorty" front bumper for the RC10 (in black only though). I recently stumbled upon them and just received the few that I ordered for myself.

I haven't found them on any other hobby sites yet but maybe they'll be made available elsewhere as well.

For now though you can pick them up from here:

Enjoy,
Dave

RC10 Shorty Front Bumper

There are still a number of vintage RC10 buggies still floating around out there and if you're one of the lucky ones that still has one, there's a good chance you still like to run it around. If you do, your best bet for serious protection of your investment would be an RPM front bumper. These things are tough, utilizing a rolled-up front edge that absorbs impacts and cushions the chassis from damage. Molded in RPM's trademark blend of super tough nylons.

as far as i know they are currently only selling them directly. (shoptron site is rpm sales site for those who didn't know)

i just wish that they came in white. i am planning to pick some up from them in a couple months.

Yeah... Someone on ebay maybe but an organisation like RPM I just don't get it. They obviously do ship to Canada for hobby stores... Oh well. I guess we'll have to get it from ebay at 5x the price.

I sent RPM an email though WTF....

if they came in white, it wouldn't be the nice "translucent" kinda white most would want anyway. it would look like pvc pipe, just like the ones are that you can still get for the 10t/gt.

So is this new stock or just that they found some left in the warehouse?

I think they're new stock since it now has a five digit item number as opposed to the older four digit. Plus the packaging is about as new as you're going to find. Hopefully they'll be around for awhile but you never know with RPM
