yes they made a rear adjuster plus ive seen home made ones rigged up. a set of these would like nice on your car plus the price is right... even a jrx2 one may work on the ultima im thinking.

Ultimapro: The coffee still stands, and the door is always open. 8)

michi: Yeah! Red anodized nuts AND knock offs! This baby's getting her brand spanking new shoes this week.
I'll let this be a surprise to all of you, but she'll be a killer!

bdrmbully:
I'll try out the JRX2 one. If it fits it's great! Thanks for the tip!
Not sure on tranny just yet. I want a MIP Super Diff, but I haven't seen so many around.
Suggestions?

Can you say Tecnacraft?

Post by walfre »

Parts keep dropping in. Today she got her new shoes, thanks to Lars Waern who imported Tecnacraft in the early 90's in Sweden. He looked through his old boxes and found me a set for the Ultima.
Sorry for the über-sized pics..

They just need some cleaning. There's no marks what so ever!
I want slicks for it. With pattern. Rear tires I got plenty of, but no fronts. Any suggestions?

If Ferrari made an RC buggy...this would be it.

The combination of the red chassis with those wheels on it will look insane.

Nice!

Thanks Dig!
She's probably going to look great. Only problem is my parents in law comes over for the weekend. I'll try to sneak downstairs to my very own boy room and put bits and pieces together anyway! :)

Thank you!
I've seen your work murphy, and the all look awesome! That 30's sprint car is a beauty!
What tires did you use on that? Some kind of slicks, right?

Yup. Have to admit that this Hot Trick build looks absolutely fantastic! Also, have to agree that Murphy's build looks amazing too - have taken a look at your blog, Murphy, very impressive stuff (and I love all the Tecnas that you have!).

Today I switched these black steering bell cranks:

I was thinking of replacing them with these:

But I changed my mind and took a set of used ones instead:
Image

Since she got her new shoes, the idea of the Tecnacraft turnbuckles wasn't really that attractive any more.
Therefore I took a set of Tech Racing ones I got years back:

The rear end needed some additional goldish too:

Matching gold.

Nice update pics of your progress, walfre! The polished wheels look great. Also dig the gold axles & turnbuckles. Kyosho Gold shocks would work nicely, too.

This is so awesome, I like cars, that are built clean and have many vintage parts on them as well. Sweet Buggy!
